Site theme

Where did you get this theme?  Is it a custom-built theme?

Nothing much new or original about the site's theme.  If you have been around Drupal for a while, you will probably recognize that it is a knockoff of the 960 Robots theme from Lullabot.

The theme looks a bit dated.  Why haven't you upgraded it to have a more contemporary Web 2.0 look with bright colors and flashy graphics?

I prefer to think that it has a "classic" look rather than being outdated!

The site does not display correctly on my screen.  What's up with that?

Can't really say for sure..but if you are using an older browser that does not support current HTML and CSS standards (e.g., Internet Explorer 6 or below), that may be the reason.  All of my testing is done using FireFox on Windows XP, Windows Vista 7 and Linux, and Internet Explorer 7 on Windows XP and Internet Explorer 8 on Windows Vista 7.  The testing is done with screen resolutions of 1024X768, 1280x1024 and 1680x1050.  If you are using another operating system (Mac OS/X, etc.) or browser (Safari , Opera, etc.), that may be it.  Or maybe you've found a bug in the theme's xHTML and/or CSS stuff!

What is the "optimal" window size for viewing the site?

The theme is optimized for a fixed width of 1024px.  I prefer a 1024x1024 window.  But the "standard" 1024x768 window is fine too, as is 800x600 if you don't mind a horizontal scroll bar.
